Stephen wrote the screenplay for the third installment in the popular teen werewolf franchise Ginger Snaps. Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning won the Alberta Motion Picture Industries Award for Best Feature Length Screenplay. He also wrote the supernatural thriller The Dark which stars Maria Bello and Sean Bean. His short films include JUNE, a collaboration with director Grant Harvey, and two Canadian Heritage Minutes commerating the 100th Anniverary of the First World War.
